The brief

The Thalidomide Society required an accessible newsletter for its members, suitable for screen reader use, and a clear and easy-to-read printed version.

The outcome

I designed a clean, fresh publication and delivered a digital version that met WCAG 2.2 accessibility standards. I chose a colour palette to compliment the current blue of the logo and made sure these colours had enough contrast. The client was extremely pleased with the final design which I had tested with an accessible designer and was further validated through testing with the members of the society.
