The brief

The West Yorkshire Sling Library, ran by Nicola for many years from her home in our local village, has been a brilliant resource for parents – myself included when my children were babies!

As Nicola's business expanded to include a new retail venue I was hired to design a logo and signage for the premises. Nicola wanted a brand that would communicate the welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere of the space – something clean, modern, and fun, appealing to both parents and children alike.

The outcome

Nicola was over the moon with her new signage and logo. The logo was designed with a colour for each area of the business, which was in a circular design using the shop's name.

I developed icons representative of each area of the business, these elements were displayed in the shop window, communicating the offerings to the public. Nicola is busier than ever and has recently taken on a new member of staff.
